Consulting a Latin dictionary led McClintock to a passage from De Finibus Bonorum et Malorum On the Extremes of Good and Evil, a first-century B.C. text from the Roman.
So when is it okay to use lorem ipsum? First, lorem ipsum works well for staging. It’s like the props in a furniture store—filler text makes it look like someone is home. The same Wordpress template might eventually be home to a fitness blog, a photography website, or the online journal of a cupcake fanatic. Lorem ipsum helps them imagine what the lived-in website might look like.

This really is a smashing basket. Arrived swiftly and well-packed. I very nearly ordered the large but l’m glad l didn’t as this is plenty big enough and just looks “right” on the bike. No issues to report re fitting; just make sure that you re-route your control cables without any tight turns. I can also recommend the Adie support bracket; you’ll certainly need something similar if you’re planning to carry anything heavier than a newspaper and a baguette.All in all, very pleased and my wife loves the new look!

The product is feels well made from Wicker and sturdy. I used a metal support to fit to an electric bike with quick release. initially I fitted to quick release but that is problematic as the bike forks and the metal frame competed with the seat on the wheel. However with some modifications fitted onto the mudguard eyelites (this is a must otherwise this cannot be fitted. Overall the basket looks very good and I have secured it more with plastic ties in addition to the supplied ties as I feel any wicker basket will need this.

This basket gives the special touch that my bike needed. I think it is handmade because you can see some imperfections but it’s ok. It does not seem to be very resistant, I do not think it supports great weight but for what I need it is perfect.

Very pleased with this new addition to my bike. Easy to fit with the leather straps, a sturdy design and good value for money. Top tip! I keep a complimentary shower cap from any hotel bathroom in the basket for that unpredicted rain shower. Perfect cover to keep the contents dry.

**EDIT** do not put a basket on without the rack to go with it The basket bounces It is bigger than I thought but it’s nice. Lovely basket on my Pendleton somerby bike. Lighter colour than advertised picture.
